Wearing a mask is required. . . . .The Health Dept will remain closed to the public, but staff are on duty. . . . . .County offices are available for business via phone, fax, mail, or email. Paperwork may be delivered via the drop box on the east side of the courthouse. . . . . .Also on Tuesday, May 26, the County Transportation Dept bus will resume running with limited service. Republic County Public Transportation provides the residents and guests  of Republic County with safe, reliable, and affordable  transportation throughout Republic County.

Buses run on “First Come, First Serve” basis  with no special designations for priority trips  such as medical or other appointments.

Call 785-527-0591 to request a ride  Monday – Friday  8:00am – 4:00pm.

All out of town rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Currently all fairs are courtesy of donation by local non-profit organization.
